so sadly after only owning my vert for 2 months, and only posting here once and reading a lot on the mods for the car, im sad to say my vert was stolen last night. i know i dont know anyone and everyone that reads this will think that sucks for that guy, but im posting this to remind those that street park their cars with no alarm systems, door looks are not even close to keeping your car safe. i learned this the hard way, and a lot of you guys probably already know this.ugh cant even keep my mind straight from what just happened (just found out like an hour ago). but yea my 2 cents, but ill be back with another ride, someday....... and ill still be here just being a creeper and reading peoples updates and post.

Post in the local section of NICO and your local forums for people to keep an eye out. A S13 Vert is hard to hide or part out without someone noticing.

Anything unique done to the car? What color? Anything that might help folks identify parts that might be sold off of it. You have no location info...

its just stock only thing it has is a sound system installed and a loud exhaust. black paint, dark tinted windows, stock rims, the interior is all leather.. from the outside it looks like a stock 240 vert well because it is.. i have reasons to believe they are still in antioch/pittsburg area. they had used my credit card to purchase gas 2 days after they stole my car.

Ouch, should have cancelled credit card. But Police should look into getting video from that gas station to identify the thieves.

This is remarkably similar to my vert, black, dark tinted windows (car was purchased in AZ) stock rims and all leather interior  When you get it back we'll have to get them together as long lost twins. Biggie's onto something, the gas station will have tape of them buying gas and that should be a good start. Good luck!

Ok.. first off.. that sucks, but my question is... Was your car parked on the side of the street WITH your credit card in the car?? Why on earth would you even think that was a good move to begin with. Yes hopefully the gas station is helpful. My advice would be to keep your wallet in your house, put a simple fuel pump cut-off (sometimes hidden plain sight is a good one - think maybe a push switch in the lighter, well unless you use your lighter), you get my point. Sometimes high end alarms are often ignored and even simple "Kill" switches are effective enough. Hopefully we will see it pop up on here. I would at least register the VIN in the registery so that if someone comes across it we can notify you. Good luck with catching him. I linked your other post into this one so people can see a picture post5914709.html#p5914709

Sad to say, I've been there. Mine was stolen from outside a club two years ago during a two week period when the alarm wasn't working. I kept saying "I'll troubleshoot it tomorrow" but for me, tomorrow never came. The cops recovered it abandoned about a month later but....It'd been totally trashed, my $3,500 custom stereo install was gone, they stole ONE of my 17" wheels, broke the roof, drilled out the trunk lock etcetera. It was a crushing blow that I have yet to get over. I loved that car more than any other I've owned in thirty plus years of driving. To add insult to injury, I just found out three months ago that it was stolen by someone I considered (at the time) a close friend because according to him, I was "trying" to sleep with his g.f. if you can believe that. Possibly the most evil thing anyone has ever done to me. He spent many hours helping me customize it and repair it. He knew exactly how much that car meant to me. The worst thing is that before I was "enlightened" I was letting him and his g.f. live here in my home for almost a year pretty much rent free. I hope never to see or hear from him again as long as I live. The only thing that astounds me more than the hurt people are willing to inflict on other's is my inability to judge a person's character well enough to avoid it. Good luck to you and I hope I didn't bring you down but I just had to vent because your post brought back some rather painful memories and feelings. All thieves can burn in hell as far as I'm concerned. -Tom

well the car is found. the car being gone actually depressed me. ive kind of pushed myself away from reading anything about cars, being my first car purchased by myself, the whole thing was just depressing. but my car was found last night. all they took where the leather seats and the sound system, and all my school books. i guess even f*** want to get smarter..... anyways. thanks to all those that kept an eye out. i wasnt the only one with a stolen 240 at the car lot. there was a hatchback there. with just the shell left... i feel bad for that guy.

@GoinTopless240. the car was parked in my driveway, it was one of those days were s*** happens all at once, my wallet must have slipped out that night. ive never left my wallet in the car before.

@glyph. man and i felt invaded... im sorry to hear about that.

p.s. should i just replace my seats with original ones? or go with something else? j/w here dont know if other model seats fit into it

As it appears we have the same color and interior I suggest you do the S14 seat mod and them have recovered in matching leather. Take a bunch of pics, then not like the results and sell the seats to me for only shipping. :>)

Seriously, glad you got your car back and the S14 mod is what I'd like to do provided I could make them look stock with the other leather bits.
