But if you leave it running and unlocked the car will politely tell the thief, on the display, that he has no key. That way he knows not to shut it off till his business is finished. Very considerate car.
I don't think the Nissans would be an easy theft. The push button system, iKey, and computer make it almost impossible - not like the old 'hot wire' days. Even my old Sunfire is very tough - without the key in the ON position, you can hot wire it but it won't stay running - the computer shuts it back off immediately (I know this because my ignition switch f'd up and it took us 18 hours to get it running!).
