She approaches me last month saying that she got a new car. Naturally I ask what is it? she says 1996 200sx SE (automatic) I hand her a Nicoclub card and told her to check the website out. yesterday she seemed pissed and she got in my face and told me "nissans are s***" i asked why she responded Mcnorton (auto-shop teacher) just told me that the parts for my car will be $1400 i was shocked and had to check out the rust-damage for myself. the guy who sold it to her said it had never been winter driven... Bullshyt i have never seen rust so bad in my life, what's worse we cant get the rubber lines we mocked up to slide onto the steel lines to try and avoid replacing the entire fuel line. and i noticed on it an massive exhaust leak from where the Cat meets the rest of the exhaust.idk what to tell her...is this a common problem?

did she even check the car out? i mean any mechanic will tell you not to buy that car if its full of rust. hell if you took a peek under at all you could tell if its that bad..
