Hi I am new to mudding and bought a 1995 pathfinder LE 4x4. just have a couple questions..

1. The truck is stock right now with the 28" tall tires. I plan on buying my friends slightly used 33x12.50" timberline mud tires. Would they work on the stock rims? (being only 7" wide I'm thinking) and would they clear everything with a 3" body lift??

2. I want to get a pushbar or one of those bumpers with the tow hooks and light tabbed push bars. can anyone give me sites to check out for ones that will look good on my 95?

Thanks! -Landon

thanks for the info, don't really see any push bars i like there. also do you know if the 33's will clear the fenders all around with a 3" body lift?

a 3 inch body lift should give u all the needed space for 33's. but if that was me i would rather supension lift it man.

You're definetly gonna need something at least 15x8 & you could even go with a 15x10 rim. You shouldn't need spacers as long as you get rims with 3.5-3.75" of BS.

As mentioned you can check out bumpers from KMA or you can check out ARB or TJM. Also if you ask around on like NPORA or AC's forum you can usually find someone who can make a really nice tube bumper for cheaper than most of the manufacturers.

To hell with keeping the IFS system if you are wanting 4.5" suspension lift + 3" body lift, just SAS it & be done with it. It'll be stronger & more capable as an offroader/mudder.

not really in saskatchewan it is all flat. but i do like living here a lot..

fukinitupagain, what is "SAS" I'm not familiar with these truck terms yet...

and I was thinking of not getting a new bumper to save some cash for now and just getting 2 KC lights on the stocker... heres what I mean, I used MS paint and drew them on my pathfinder..

"SAS" is straight axle swap, reffering to cutting out all of the IFS (independent front suspension) & putting in a straight axle from say a Jeep Wagoneer or if you want to go with a fullsize front axle you can take one from an older F-350 (77?-96).

Here ya go, this is a '93 Pathfinder that has, amongst a ton of things, had a SAS done on 37's:
