stocked in reverse!

hi,,,need help....i have a 95 altima, manual trans...everytime i use the reverse, it some how get stock in there, until i play shift it to other gear...like when im parking, after i reverse and put the gear to neutral, and release the clutch, the car will jerk back and die, and i know that my reverse is still engaged,,,,i dnt know what the problem is...i can avoid it only if i play shift it to othere gear

wow your havin a hella of a time here. If you dont have a service manual perhaps you should just stop here. You need to pull this thing apart and match the layout with the service manual to make sure your detents are in the proper places. There are different size detents and they are listed in the service manual.
