HAVE A 07 M45 SPORT

I want to put HID'S in my fog lights, anyone ever done it? any pics?

My question is what is the tempature of the stock headlights? 4300,4500,5000,6000, or more????

OEM D2R or D2S bulbs are 4300k. The older they are the more color shifted they become. Phillips makes a + bulb that is pre colorshifted. I think it's rated 5k.

btw....i'm trying to match the fogs to the headlights,

so all these car companys, lexus, audi, mb that have projectors are all 4300k's but the reason they all look different is because of the lens? correct?

Correct!

Flicker and color depends on the type of lense. Clear or Fresnal. Clear lens will give a sharp cut off and nice flicker. Bending the shield also effects color.

Anything over 6k is garbage as far as useable light.

You can actully save yourself a little money and hassle installing HID by putting in some PIAA Super Plasma GTX halogen bulbs. Those are pretty close match to OEM HIDS as far as color goes.
