Alright well recently my SR all of a sudden wants to start hitting 9lbs at full boost rather than 7. Currently using the stock T25 with stock wastegate, FMIC. Started doing it this week. Ideas?

Thank you!

May be some boost creep?

Wastegates can go bad one of 2 ways. 1 the spring gets week and you loose boost, 2 the diaphragm leaks making it not possible for boost pressure to open it accurately resulting in over boost. Any leak in the line from charge pipe to wastegate will do this.

Do a boost leak test...I bet the wastegate actuator leaks air.

Internal wastegates suck, at best. More than likely wear and tear.

The only true boost control is a new aftermarket one kept below 1 bar, or having a wastegate welded to the OEM manifold. I can help you with both.

Helper springs work really well too...
