Hi all,

I've done some searching but can't seem to find an opinion on this. Last year I installed a 2871R on my black top SR (S14). I replaced the hard coolant lines to the turbo with a kit from ISR. https://www.isrperformance.com/isr-perf ... s14-motor/

The coolant feed line was accidentally too close to the turbo heatshield. It got frayed and burnt (melted) and now it's leaking slowly. I want to replace the line but don't want to buy the entire kit again.

I'm debating putting the stock hard line with the banjo fitting back on.

Question 1: Will the stock line fit? I think it will as this was basically a drop in turbo replacement.
Question 2: Is the stock line "okay" to use? I think it's a smaller diameter than the ISR one but I may be wrong.

Thoughts, suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

If the stock handlines are in decent condition i would always recommend using them. WAY better than the ISR doo doo china special braided lines.
ISR sells those kits to unknowing SR owners that like the "AN" style lines/fittings. In reality the OEM hardlines are better. (more reliable by a LONG shot!)
