I'm bulding up a KA and obviously going to rum it turbo. I have the block and the head ready to get the work done. Now, my current KA is boosting 10 psi and yielding 245 lbs of torque and I'm extremely happy, which means that the most power i want to produce is around 550- 6?0 horses. I'm getting all new internals for the block (.20 over pistons, forged rods, etc...) and new cams and springs. I'm also getting the head ported, valve jobs, etc... My friend and I were discussing the possibility of not oversizing the valves, thinking that we can get the horsepower desired without having to do so. The problem is finding performance valves that are stock size. So how many horsepower can the stock head valves hold? Where can I get performance(titanium) valves that are the stock size? And will I still be able to reach my goal of horsepower (I'll also be using a great turbo to be determined) even by cutting this corner?
