Stock turbocharged engine with 8 spark plugs

I am hoping you guys can help settle a little bet. A co-worker of mine is convinced that not only did Nissan make a 4 cylinder turbocharged car in the U.S. but that is also had 8 spark plugs.:Werd I have never heard of such a thing and am fairly convinced that it does not exist. He also says it was a 2 door and that it was a 200sx or 240sx. I know it could not have been a 240 but he doesn't want to take my word for it. Maybe some of you could help convince him.:beatfreakThanks for the assitance

Your co-worker is correct. The engine is the ca18et, its a 1.8 sohc 8 valve engine. It also had plugs on the intake and exhaust side of the head. It can be found in 1984-1988 Nissan 200sx. I hope you didnt have money on that bet.

Actually, 86 was the last year it was offered as turbo.
