you cant just rebuild this turbo it has to be modded and a few things changed there are many turbo places on the net that will give you a parts list and what needs to be done.mine cost me a little over 300 for my parts and the labor was another 300.

Where did you find the parts to do it? what websites? i was told its gonna cost me $2000+- to put a new turbo on my car that was for a non bb t3 t4. i woud need new plumbing front and back and new injectors; plus i would have to get my pfc retuned , thats why i would rather just get my stocker rebuilt my car is a daily driver not a race car or drift machine, i just want it to run goood and strong for a long time.

can someone give me an answer to my question rather then just tell me that i need to buy a bigger turbo and injectors, intercooler piping, a tune, new exhaust outlet, mafs and what ever else i really would need to make a big turbo work......................................................i already weighed that option and its out of my price range at this point in time. i just need some help finding parts for a nissan; this is still a nissan tech assistance site, correct?

are you kidding me?

1) you didnt need a 2nd thread about this. i locked your other one.

2) READ THE THREAD. the parts to rebuild your stock turbo are 300$, PLUS LABOR. if you cant afford it, you dont get to do it! its that simple! find a cheaper used replacement or a different cheaper turbo.

Yeah with everyone upgrading to larger turbos, it should be economical to just buy a used turbo and wait til it craps out and buy another one. For $600, you could buy at least 3 stock used turbos. Post what you want to buy in the classifieds thread and someone will probably have it. I am looking to sell mine if you want it. See how easy that was?

i agree to a point for some one that wants more power but is not that good at welding or just genral modding. the stock turbo rebiuld is great couse it bolts right up, and when you get it rebuilt they get rid of the ceramic crap so the turbo can handle alot more abuse.most turbo shops garrentee it to 400hp. so for something that bolts up no mods that is pretty good imo

i made another post because i seem to always get people that say what they think i need to do instead of telling me what i want to know. whenever you add to my threads it's to say or do something negative. why do you hate so much bro? first off; your a moderator, you should know its going to cost far more then 600 to put a t3/t4 on an rb. and second; the purpose of the thread was to obtain the part number for the stock turbo and any other relevent information not for you to tell me that i cant afford ****. Finally third; since you know so much about rb's to be the forum mod; whats the part number for a 45v3 s2 rb25det turbo?????

i dont hate you, you just think the world revolves around yourself. thats why you bumped your thread with only 7 MINUTES between posts. people dont live on this message board to answer at your beckon call.

i understand you dont have the money for a full on turbo upgrade. you dont NEED to get a T3/T4. i was using that as an example because you can get a BRAND NEW TURBO for the price of trying to rebuild a busted *** RB25 unit. you can find a used turbo off a Z31 which is slightly bigger and bolts on to the RB engines. those are also rebuildable.

ill get you the part number in a few. dont have FAST on my new computer downloading it now

but DONT BUY A NEW TURBO FROM THE DEALER.
