Seems like all the welded stainless steel ones don't have much endurance and that the stock cast iron manifolds holp up way better. Has anyone had any good experience with a particular stainless welded turbo manifold? Or is just some good port matching on the stock manifold sufficient?
Thin walled stuff never last. The thicker stuff that you see lovefab, fullrace, protech use stands up to the abuse and heat cycling. The thin stuff is like the SSautochrome,Xspower ect. Some HKS manifolds are thin walled too but not sure if they switched to cast manifolds now.
http://www.3rdgearvtec.net/And...4.JPG it's a pretty big pic so I didn't want to post it on the forum cause well it's pretty big. It's a pic of a thin walled greddy manifold next to a thickwalled stainless manifold.
