Ive done a bit of searching on here, and have found out some decent info on smaller sized turbos. Long story short, my i bought my sr powered car 2 weeks ago and its turbo seals are shot...I need a new snail! Im looking at getting the garrett gt28r as they are too pricey and should offer decent gains. What other options are good and affordable? When I say affordable i mean sub 1000 dollars and able to fit in the stock location, stock mani, etc. Thanks for the help...

Save up slightly more and just get the GT2871r w/ the .64 a/r. You'll be happier you did (in the long run).

I agree. I opted for the .86 gt2871r b/c Im used to lag and its freakin sweet. I paid wholesale 800 dollars w/internal wastegate. Thats the best way to go. If youre not used to lag or just plain hate it, then go with the .64.
