Exactly what the title says.

What is the safest limit a stock RB20/RB25 turbo can be taken to?

Lets pretend FMIC, fuel and ignition are non-issues.

Answered own question

Seems 11-12 psi on both engines is pushing the limit.

Actually, 11-12 PSI is safe, but you can run up to, but not exceed 14. The stock turbos on the RB engines (32 and 33's) have ceramic exhaust turbines that tend to go boom at anything over 1.0Bar of boost (which is 14.7 PSI), but that is with sustained boost.

As long as you don't cross that threshold, you're golden.
