i purchased a 720 from a friend who passed away and he had the front lowered by cranking the torsion bars. i installed new 2"drop spindles so now the truck is SLAMMED. i want to readjust the torsion bars so that the front is so low. can anyone lend me a hand?

Hey Steve,

I got your email. Here is what I found: zer...98318

Try re-indexing the torsion bars, that may help.

i just lowered mine using the torsion bars and it was too low... so i readjusted them back up and its not hard... reindexing is way harder....

just go to the torsion bar anchor bolts and turning them to the right while holding the nut on top in place will take it right back up. its just two bolts verses a the reindexing process

hey man i was working on dropping mine down and it seems that my driver side will only go so low. i mean it's not low at all yet the torsion bar bolts are almost completely out but on the passenger side it will go low as hell and still have alot of bolt left to play with. i looked around and couldn't find anything that was holding back. do you have any idea what it could be?? thanks

Sounds like you need a longer bolt for the drivers side, or maybe switch them if one goes way down with extra to spare and the other doesn't, doing so is easier said then done, isn't it always?
