stock tires on aftermarket wheels???

I'm sick and tired of losing hubcaps, I've lost about three in the past 6 months so I decided to buy a set of 15" aftermarket wheels, however I don' t have enough $$$ to replace tires too and the stock tires still have treadlife left. I know that stock wheels are 15x5.5 4x114.3 but I was wondering if the stock tires would work on 15x6.5 aftermarket wheels??? Any insight would be appreciated.

Might fit, just have to see if the tire mounting place can get them to fit on there. Won't look quite right though.

I'd say take off the hubcaps and wait to put the new wheels on until you can afford the new tires. Otherwise you'll spend more money getting 2 sets of tires mounted.
