Had a big storm in the NE today, car got stuck twice, had to get pushed out once. will buy winter tires asap.

kinda funny when I turned off the TCS, engine just revs insanely but the car does not move... better to keep TCS on :P

How much snow fell? My tires have done pretty well in it's own right.

really? in the 1-2 inch section it was decent, but in anything above that I was getting stuck,,,,,,,, probably 7 inches fell total.

oh btw, I heard that tire shops try to con people into buying winter tires w/ alloy wheels,, or not con, but rather it is what they advertise. I'm going to get steel rims and save a few hundreds$s, and have that crazy black rim look. haha

Yeah I agree, I have been meaning to get some steelies for the winter myself, don't want to damage the SE rims.

You don't need alloy wheels for winter, but having steel ones will reduce the performance of your car, breaking and acceleration. But if you're winter is so bad you got stuck twice i don't think performance really matters, Unless you can't stand the look for steel rims, really up to you.

We had and are still having a decent amount of snow up here so haven't got stuck but winter tires would be a help but I'm cheap and lazy.

We had layers of ice then snow and more ice on top of that this weekend. Needless to say the coupe did "ok" in the snow we got. Its the ice you need to watch out for.

Now its just dirty as all hell!
