is it possible for the stock turbo to hit a spike at 18psi or is my autometer boost gauge inaccurate? is it safe to run 14/15 psi for a daily driver with the stock management system.. i have an upgraded fmic by the way.

I think your fine running 14psi as long as you verify your AFR's are good and you have other supporting mods such as a fmic. I've been running 14psi on my sr for the whole summer and everything has been fine. I have stock mafs, injectors, and turbo. Im using a safc2 because i was running a little lean in the low to mid range and now it runs great, definate improvement in drivability with the safc. As far as maxing out the maf or injectors, im getting about 85% air flow through the maf at full throttle running 14psi.

hope this helps.
