Stock sub wire harness location

Ok I have an SL model and before I go ripping all the trim off I was wondering where exactly the wire harness for the stock sub is located. From the service manual it looks like it should be a 6-pin connector but I didn't see one under any of the 3 little access panels on the left side.

Just as a confirmation I should be able to use that connector to get low freq "line level" signals and a remote line. Assuming I enable Subwoofer at the headunit. So all I have to run is power and ground. Correct?

Yes, it is back there, but it is tucked up under the upper panel in the hatch. You'll have to take off the lower panel to get to it. It does have a line level signal, and remote line. It has power too, but it is way too small for any respectable amp, so you'll want to run power.
