picked up my car for my air suspension installation and didn't notice my stock stereo wasn't working until i got home. i called the guys who installed it and said they never touched the stereo, all they did was run a new fuse from the battery to the compressors and tapped in the key ignition to set up for the air suspension. i know i've seen a couple of threads with there stock head unit not turning on. somebody please help me out!! thanks

check the fuse. if its not blown, check to see if it has power. if it does, check to see if the radio has power to the main harness. does the y33 radio have a fuse in the back of it? check it.

if you have no power to the fuse, start there and with a wiring diagram follow the wire to its power source and check it. keep going backwards till you find the problem.

if you have power all the way to the radio then keep asking y33 gurus. maybe theres a code or somthin yo!

show us a pic of your car dropped to the ground!

horn, clock, and interior lights work? Radios have 2 power sources. Ignition and constant and the constant is often on the same circuit with the items mentioned above. Check those as well as the radio fuse. Also, don't just look at the fuse, best to check it with an ohmmeter and like heywier said, check for voltage at the fuse so you know if the problem is before the fuse or after it.

finally figured out the problem, first thing i checked was the fuse and what do you know, it was gone. i know they mentioned to me that they had to tweak it a bit so they can wire up the key ignition to turn on the compressors when i have it in. and they must've took out the wrong one. well everythings good, just used ones of my spares. oh and heres some pics of it slammed.

stock height feels really smooth especially on the freeway. but i noticed one of my struts were leaking, they're about to be replaced. im still debating if i should go with the KYB SRs or just get stock ones. the air suspension is UNIVERSAL AIR. i have aero sport bags on my stock shocks and the first picture is at full down. hopefully in the near future i can add some coiloivers to the system for more adjustability. my system consist of 2 viar compressors, 1 five gallon stainless steel tank, 1/2'' lines, 8 electric valves, and air bags. soon i'll be getting 19s and an aero kit. straaaiight VIP!
