I took the stock stereo out to look at it cause i want to put in an after market one. but i noticed there was no port on the back of this radio for the antenna. And i know that newer after market radios have the hole in the back of them to plug in a antenna wire.. how do i get around that??

On your TIIDA/VERSA stock stereo just cut off the fat antenna cable and the slim wire next to it from the back port.., after solder the fat antenna cable to a normal plug that fits into the aftermarket stereo systems with round hole in the back, then you find the 5+V power supply on the aftermarket stereo systems you want to install and solder it to the slim wire that is was connected in the same plug as the antenna on your original stock TIIDA/VERSA stereo system.

*** You have to give power supply the stock roof antenna on the TIIDA/VERSA or you will not get excellent radio receptions at all; because the stock roof antenna has a built in electronic microchip radio booster.

I had the same problem when I installed my JVC (KW-XC406) stereo systems and I was going to do a full re-wiring and a new antenna, but after dismantling the roof antenna I found out that little microchip hidden inside the antenna and all it needed is a power supply .. I can now hear radio stations I never heard before.

Good Luck
