Does it make a good enough sound? Or should I just invest in a blitz bov so I can get the nice Shift *psshsh* sound?

lol just makin sure, the guy I've been talking to about this car said he doesnt remember what the stock one sounded like. And he's saying to push 15psi with the stock turbo, I dont know how safe that is considering I'm driving daily? I dunno tho, I'll be upgrading some parts too so we'll see how that goes..

Ok, well if you're not to sure of things you might want to keep the boost down to a conservative 7psi until you know what the hell you're doing.

Assuming you have an S13 blacktop. Yes the T25 can run at 15psi, but that's pretty much the max of it. I wouldn't suggest 15psi until you have supporting mods such as fuel pump and FMIC. Even than I would be weary.

You definitely can't go wrong getting a wideband and making sure your A/Fs are decent.

Also, the stock BOV is notorious for leaking at higher boost levels.

I planned on getting these parts right off the bat:

Greddy FMICBlitz BOVWalbro InjectorsNew Radiator probably koyo

and a few lil knick knacks...but I figured that push 15psi safely...

I wouldnt push that dinky little T25 more than 13~14 psi. Anything above that, it's running way out of its efficiency range AND you are going to shorten the life of the T25.

If a bigger turbo is in your future To-do list... do it and see how long it lasts... If you want your T25 to last a bit loner I wouldnt suggest it.

For starters, start utilizing the search engine we have here on NICO.

Second, you'll want a Walbro 255 fuel pump, not Walbro Injectors.

What's your idea of affordable turbo?

For my power goals of 250-300rwhp the S15 T28 will do. Of course you can't just upgrade the turbo without thinking about injectors and fuel management.

ahh thanks yeah the fuel pump. This is my first 240 but not my first engine swap project.

I would want to get maybe a lil over 300 HP. I mean I dont really want to spend more than 4k on the engine right now..

4k should suffice. The stock BOV is plenty loud enough to attract the wrong type of attention though
