i would like to know how fast the SR20DET is truely is. None of my friends dont think my car is that fast. I have not had a chance in taking it to a track and im also not the best manual driver out there . So if i put a professional driver in my car and have it properly tuned...how fast do you think it could do in a 1/4 race?

You need to get a boost controller and turn it up to 11lbs. (stock boost for a SR), then mid 13s shouldnt be too hard with a good driver.

Depends on the SR. In an S13 SR you will run low to mid 14's. S14 SR, my friend dipped a 13 flat at 14psi, S15 SR probably high 12's. This is such a subjective question, it's dependent on millions of factors like Humidity, track temp, tires, differential type, altitude, driver skill, the list goes on and on. My point being, this has been discussed, there is a thread on this exact question that is stickied at the top of the forum, right below the new topic button. Consult it and you will see that there are endless possibilities and no "true" answer.

14.7psi actually, S14 SR with bolt ons and Fidanza Flywheel. Sean ran a 13.01 @110mph IIRC.

Pretty impressive

A stock SR with bolt-ons @ 7psi could be anywhere from 14.xx to 13.xx. Traction is probably going to be your main limiting factor. If you're running the stock open-diff., really bald tires, and stock SR clutch than don't expect anything too great.

If you have good tires, LSD, and a decent clutch than you should be able to hit high 13s on 7psi.
