I have a stock SR20 BOV laying around that I wanted to use for a KA-T setup, but I was curious as to how well they hold up boost? where abouts do they max out?

Well, they will hold at least 10 since that is stock boost.

I would get a DSM BOV. They are dirt cheap and hold a good deal of pressure.

If not, get a Blitz DD and recirculate it. They're not expensive at all.

Yea I'll probably just steal a DSM BOV from a friend, but I thought maybe I could give the SR BOV a shot if it was worth it.

I just read on Zilvia that a guy actually leak-down tested his stock SR BOV and apparently it started to bleed off pressure at a little over 7.5 PSI. Said there was a small releif valve on the top.

If you have the means to do this, try it out.

Stick with the DSM.
