I am sure it has been gone over before... and i searched around a bit but o well... i have my sr in and nothing more than a boost gauge hooked up. shows it boosting between 7 and 8 psi all the time.. but i got walked by a stockish ka.... timing is right, compression is almost perfect. I just dont know where to start looking. any suggestions? could it be a boost leak? the thing is on friends cars boost leaks mean it runs like ***. it runs perfect and sounds fine just doesn't have the power it should. any suggestions would be appreciated.

I would recheck the igniton timing and make sure its at 15o Second mark from the left on the crank pulley..Maybe a clogged cat or muffler??

How do you check if your ecu is in limp mode? How to you get it out of limp mode, or is it automatic?
