i go to college and at my school we have a welding class and they welded it up for free, but i wouldn't think they would charge more than 10 bucks.

Is Tig welding the best way to fix it? Cause i have some huge holes in my decklid. My brother has a tig welder but I dont have the money for a paint job yet. Should i just spray paint it with clearcoast rustoleum or something in the meantime?

they told me that tig welding was the best way. after they welded the holes up i cleaned the metal and primered the surface because im to poor to pay for a paint job too.

You are kidding right, if i don't go for nuts and bolt to the dealer i would NOT bu a complete hatch assembly, it will probably be in the $1000 more or less. and my guess is more.

just go to a junkyard and get one. find one with the window broken, and put your old window.

Yeah I picked up a decklid at a local yard for 35 bucks with the window...too bad I broke it on the way home. Is it possible to take my old window to a shop and have it swapped from one lid to the other??
