Stock speaker sizes?

Hey, I have a 93 JDM 300ZX TT, anyways, I don't think it's the Bose stereo, but I'm wondering what the stock door speaker sizes are.

Judging by the grilles, they might be 5x7, but I haven't really looked. Do you need to take the entire door panel off to get at the speakers, or do the grilles just pop out?

I know the rear speakers are definately 4x6's..

My 1993 WITH stock Bose system had really tiny speakers up front. I think 3 or 3.5" IIRC. I fit 6.5" in the front when I replaced it and 4X6" in the rear.. not sure if non-Bose is the same size.. hope that helps some

go to crutchfield.com, click car audio&video, click car speakers, and then click "select your vehicle". u can get the correct size, then if you want to buy from em you can, or just get the size and go some where else to get the speakers.

i have a bose ans the speakers are circular cones no larger then 5.25 if this helps

I know there are differences in the years, even though the covers look the same from the outside.Remove the factory system and replace the head unit and the 4 speakers as you will be doing yourself a HUGE favor.Also add at least a small sub to balance the sound out.6.5" fit with some mods. I chose to use Infinity Reference line 3.5" as they fit right into the holes in my 1990 door boxes without any mods and added a sub. Sounds 1000 times better than the stock Blose system.

If I was going to do it again I would go Orion 6.5" with the separate tweeter. Simply amazing for car audio.

When I took apart my speaker to swap it out, the Bose speaker in the front was 3inch and Yes you would need to take the door panel out.
