stock signals vs. aftermarket ones / re-wiring...

aright. the site i ordered the C West kit for my kouki tells me i need to buy different signal lights in order for them to fit. is this true? or is it simply them trying to make additional money? if this is true i think im going to re-wire my corners / signals so that the corners are both corners and signals, somehow. i know someone did this but i searched and got no results...

if your talking about the 180sx light than I dont know wtf they are talking about, When I purchased my lights it had everything only you gotta do is splice your old harness to the new lights and mount them, no special bulbs, signals etc etc.

on the site it says that the OEM signal lights wont fit right with the bodykit. so they want me to order CWEST signals, which i wont do. just wondering if this is tre or not. and if it is, im wondering if you have to do anything special to convert the corners to both signals and corners.

if its anything liek the type-x front end yes you do need new signals

USDM are teardrops and JDM are square

is there a special way to wire the corners to convert them? i would like them to stay lit as corners, but blink as signals when need be. i could have sworn i saw someone on here do it... any idea?

You need the JDM kouki turn signals for the kit or buy the clears ones they sell. I believe your current one will plug right in, like changing out to clear corners and bumper lights.

alright figured that much out. tomorrow im gonna have to see if i can splice some wires to make the corners signal. heheh.

the Side markers will do as long as it is notifiable from the front that youhave a blinker signalling the way you are turning, Correct me if I am wrong but I think that is law for most

yep that is what i plan on. it would be nice if they stay lit up, but blink when signalling. I KNOW i saw it somewhere, gah this is innoying me now.

just do it through the side markers and if you get puled over just let them know you never knew that and it passed with inspection
