So there I am thinking Hey I'll just have to put the stock sidemount on and I'm on my way :). Then I tried to put it on. . .Errr none of the pipes lined up I think I'm missing a pipe. I need to see some pics for those of you still running the side mount intercooler.

we had to custom make one of the intercooler pipes, we used PVC pipe (ghetto i know) but it works and no one will see the intercooler piping...the reason we had to make the PVC intercooler pipe is because the stock pipe hit the bumper support...and either you have a choice of taking the bumper support off (saves 40lbs but when ur in a front collision your screwed) or making a custom intercooler piping...

good luck

Tony

If you have any more pics I'd like to see them. Right now I looped it back into itself so it's running non intercooled. Ohh Anyone know where to find the pin out for the RB20 dash plug? I have the ECU pin out but not the dash plugs. Thanks

you dont need to remove the bumper support, some trimming will make room for it to fit.basicaly just remove the back side of the the left part of the bumper support (left of the mounting beam) and it will have enought clearance for the pipe.

i was looking at the pictures of your intercooler and it looks nothing like mine (pipe-wise). I'm doing the rb25 swap but i would think that the ic piping would be the same. anyways, here are pictures of my intercooler and pipes that i got.

i really hope someboy can help me out.

I have never seen an SR sidemount, but I can tell that my RB25DET sidemount doesn't look like that?

But if you can't get that one to work, I saw a stock siedmount and pipes for sale on Ebay a few days ago.

Interesting. The RB25 Intercooler is different. There is less piping than that.

That intercooler he has is from a SR20. I have seen them alot to spot one right away. Who ever you got your motor set from gave you the wrong intercooler.

i think your right. i went to ebay and somebody was selling his sr side mount and it looks exactly like the one i got. i know ebay isn't really the best place to reference things but i know it's not a rb intercooler... so anybody know is if i can rig it up to work on a rb?
