Stock Shifter Knob thread size??

General discussion forum about the 240sx, and a great place to introduce yourself to the board!

I dont know if anyone knows off hand so I dont have to measure it and try and guess what thread size it is, but I wanna have a company I know make a shifter ball for me to fit the shifter.

i don't remember off hand, but they should be able to tell you if you give them the stock knob or if they look at the shifter shaft () with teh knob off

The size is 10mmX1.25.I just finished making a new knob for my car last week.

I've always wanted to make my own shift knob. To me, an 8 ball knob would be sweet.

Screw it, I'm doing it this week since I'm on turkey break.

I turned mine on a lathe out of a solid chunk of aluminum.

Would you be interested in making another?I will be installing a short shifter in my GTI here shortly and nothing aftermarket really appeals to me. I can't seem to find a Monster Knob for my car and all others are straight up too small, too expensive, poorly fitting or any combination of the three.
