stock s14 fuel pump

from reading some old post it seems that I can use my stock pump if I am shooting for 270-300 hp using a t3/t04 @ 9-10 lbs of boost. If not I will use the z32 pump, not a big fan of the p.o.s. walbro. Anybody have any input?

when getting into turboing a motor, if you have to say "it seems" or "it might" you should probably stay away from it

Did you purchase a seperate sock since it comes with the wrong one? I may just purchase a z32 pump and be done with it.

I've got a stock S14 pump...no problems at 14 lbs of boost. The S13 is a different story.

But in safeties sake, an upgrade isn't very expensive.

i used the s13 sock for a long time with no issues. you just may not be able to run the car below E on the fuel gauge with it tho. you shouldnt get too hard on the car with that low of fuel anyway

i used back my s13 sock on my z32 tt fuel pump. I say be done with it and get the z32 pump..............

Not the correct sock. You have to order a honda prelude sock for it to be correct. I will just upgrade to a Z32 pump. Thanks for all the responses.

Wrong sock? for S13 or S14? I have used as much at 13.5 gal... so the walbro S14 sock will pull at least that much.

I would swap the pump... People say the stock might hold. But at 190rwhp my pump was holding me from using the 370's all the way. and then the FPR need'd replaced.
