whoops. sorry for posting it so big, it also has a blitz BOV and stock SMIC and of course walbro and fans, but thats it. and it says flywheel power, but they hooked it up to my wheels so i think it is whp, correct me if im wrong. also, just for anybody considering going rb20, i have less than $3500 in this car, including coilovers and big brakes. also here is a little celebration afterwards http://videos.streetfire.net/C...b.htm

I would guess those numbers are in fact flywheel #'s. It would be very impressive to put down 220 at the wheels with no major mods on stock boost... when the RB20 is only rated at 220 at the crank from the factory.

Still. Nice numbers!

it IS at the wheels buddy. it was done on a dynapack type dynometer. the kind where they take off the wheels and hook it up to the hub. lol id like to see a sr20 put those numbers down with just intake n exhaust

You sure about that "buddy". I've seen dyno's adjust 15% to make up for transmission loss and show numbers at the flywheel.

I'm not trying to knock it. That's a great dyno chart.

I just find it hard to beleive that a bone stock RB20 puts down 220 at the wheels (which would be like 250 at the flywheel). Nissan advertises the RB20 at 220 and the RB25 (except R34 versions) at 250.. All manufacturers claim hp at the flywheel. So, I'd be very surprised to see a 20 dyno at 25 numbers without upping boost or other significant mods.

The highest RB20 hp numbers I've seen on a stock turbo (with increased boost pressure) are just shy of 240whp. That was with upped boost, exhaust, intake, and multiple other mods.

Maybe it's the welded diff that helps keep the hp high.

Anyhow... Good dyno! I'm not trying to knock it or bring you down.

thanks for the replies guys. i was totally stoked if i even got more than 200. yeah i agree, on the sound. that is my main reason for going rb originally. it sounds like nothing else. maybe a supra. but inline turbo 6s are the only way to go. i love rbs. also, the boost is prob 10 or 11lbs with the downpipe, no cat, and a true 3"' exhaust (which means inside the muffler is still 3")
