Ok i have a t3/t4 turbonetics turbo .50A/R and .48 exhaust housing .50 trim, it spools hard at about 4.5k.

My friend has a stock jdm gtir pulsar t28 and we were thinking that we should switch.

I just want a second opinion of if that is a good trade?

I mean will i get better proformance with his stock t28 or is my turbo better?

I want to run 15psi max.

15lbs on the gti-r t28 will get right under 300 with the right fuel . I had one and ran 10lbs, full boost was right at 4000 rpm. I dont know how the other turbo does but just something to think about.

So what do you think? should i trade or will trading cause me to lose power i'm currently running 12psi on my t3/t4 stock injectors and maf how much psi would i be able to run with the gtir turbo and how would performance compare?

what is you power goal?

you arent getting full potential out of either turbo with stock maf and injectors

but if it were me and i already had a t3 flanged turbo, i would keep it and start working on other areas (fuel)

You need injectors as well. How large depends on how much power you're wanting to make...

it runs good i haven't had any problems with it being close to the turbo.

Also i know i need injectors but until i get them will installing my apexi afc, z32 maf and chipping my ecu do any good or is it my injectors which are limiting my system now and installing those stuff won't change anything?

We have a local used parts shop and they have tons of japan engines there i was thinking of going there tomorrow to see if i could find some injectors.

However i need some advice or guidance on what stock car injectors can be used on the ca and what to look for when getting them.

Or maybe some physical characteristics i can look for so i can make sure i'm getting the right size or type injectors.

For instance i know that they have a lot of rb20 engines but i know that the gts stock injector size is 270cc and the gtr is 440cc but how can i tell the difference.

But what i really need to know is what cars stock injectors can work on the ca and are larger than the stock ca injector size which i belive is 370cc.

Any help please because i'm going there tommorow and once i buy them if they are the wrong ones i can't return them.

there are color differences....but I forgtet what they are.

If you cant tell the difference between an RB20 and a RB26DETT, then somethings worng.

but I guess if the inj are not on the motor it does make it harder.

I thought that RB20 inj were side fed?.....and that only the GTR inj were top fed?

also, GTiR pulsar inj are 440s aswell.

rx7 inj come in 550cc low impedance ( only 2 per motor ), but they also came with high impedance and different size, so you'd need to be certain on that.

mitsi VR4 injectors are 450cc and bolt straight in.

Thanks for the help datsunboy i really want to get some injectors for my car and i'm limited to getting stock injectors and now i have a better chance of finding some that will work.

So far cars whose stock injectors are larger than the ca and can work on the ca are:

1)Skyline gtr rb26dett - 440cc3)Pulsar GTiR - 440cc2)RX7 - 550cc4) Mitsubishi VR4 - 450cc

Are there any other stock engine injectors that will work? State the year and engine and i can find it doesn't have to be japan.

the nissan 444cc injectors are yellowand rb20 is top feed but those injectors will do you no good.rx7 have top feed injectors.mitsubishi eclipse and evo have top feed.those are all i can think of right now. Just find a pulsar gtir injectors, they're 444cc that's what i'm running currently.

It occurs to me that the guy incharge of this used parts place doesn't know much it woulbe alot easier if the injectors were still in the engine.

Here is what injectors he didn't have:1)rb26dett2)evo3)eclipse4)rx7

However when i asked about the galant injectors he said he has some out of a six cylinder galant engine and a 4 cylinder engine both are not turbo. Will any of those work? Also what about 3000gt mitsubishi injectors will they work?
