i believe stock sr pistons are cast. they are still quite stout.

ok so one for cast and one for forged

there are forged pistons and connecing rods fo rthe sr, but they are very expensive from what ive heard or seen. Theres this guy in Atlanta nmaed marshak, and i think he has forged internals, but i cant think of any of the companys that kame them.

i haven't heard of many OEM forged pistons so i'll have to say cast or maybe some variant of a hyper-eutectic type.
