does any one know where I can buy some stock piston rings, wrist pins, main and rod bearings? Also is it hard to change out the rings and wrist pins?

i do not have experience with wrist pins but

pistons rings/rod bearings/main bearings all from SR20DE engines.

just make sure you get the correct grade size for all your bearings and if you are ordering from the dealership such as nissaparts.org then remember that rod bearings are sold in one half where as main bearings are sold in two halves.

Any one know for the piston rings, do you just pop off the old ones and put new ones on? or is there a certain way to do it.?

I would consult someone locally that knows what they are doing. You can screw up a ring install easily if you don't know what you are doing.

Yes, there is a very specific way to put on piston rings.

First of all, you would want to hone out your cylinder walls in order to properly break in your new rings.

Second of all, go to Autozone and get one of those piston ring installers. It will prevent trying to put the rings on and snapping them in half.

Third of all, go get your self a FSM and it will tell you how to arrange piston rings properly. 1st, 2nd ring and oil control rings all have to be arranged a certain way relative to the piston and you DO NOT want to mess that up.

Just take your time.

Im rebuilding a redtop and i orderd everything from Nissan. Im getting S15 pistons. they are a little better than the old red top stock pistons. 300z TT pistons/rings will also work. The wrist pins should come with new pistons and you have to press them in .
