An exhaust system is really only as efficient as the smallest pipe in the system, however. You can gain very modest power increases by playing with different exhaust set-ups on a whim, but don't forget to take backpressure into consideration. While you can physically get step up and step down adapters to make this system fit that and so on, the exhaust gasses will still bottleneck when stepping-down into a smaller pipe (increasing backpressure) and conversely when jumping to a much larger pipe via a step- up the backpressure will decrease, both of which are terrible for an engine from a performance standpoint.
