Stock Oil Pressure?

Sorry people, don't have the book at home and I forget what the stock oil pressure psi is for the KA24DE at idle. Anyone? ... Thanks.

i think i just read that it was 5psi.

HAHA!!!!!!!!!! Wow, TOTAL misinformation. At idle you should have around 25PSI, at 3K RPM you should have between 65-75PSI.

are you serious? i was reading the manual and i read 5psi somewhere and i thought i was for the oil sending unit at idle. i guess i was reading the wrong thing. sorry.

that could be where the oil sending unit lights up.

in my opinion its really low, Id like a little more notice

5PSI is the level at which the low oil light will turn on. If you haven't spun a bearing or something else oil related by that point, consider yourself lucky.
