What does this do exactly? Could i just get rid of it and run a longer hose down to the block instead of to the can and then to the block? Does anyone know where to buy that clear braided oil resistant tubing that comes with the catch cans? I know this has been covered before but i cant find any info on removing this can.

It's suppose to catch the oil from the blowby that way they don't go into your intake tract through your turbo and so forth.

Run a tube from the motor to the valve cover with an elbow. Then run another tube from valve cover to catch can. Then leave the other line vented on the catch can. I wish I had some pics, I thing you'd like the idea. Before I didn't run a catch can at all...just a line from motor to valve cover w/ a k& n breather but it lightly coated that area of the engine. Now its good. I just used coolant heater hose.

Rear motor vent, to stock oil seperator bottom

Top of stock oil seperator, to Valve Cover T

Valve cover T, to catch can.

other side of catch can, to intake, after MAF, before turbo

To easy.

Yeah this is how i had planned, however i have to do it before the MAF So i hope this doesnt cause any problems. It shouldnt unless oil is going through the can and into the maf i suppose.
