hello, i need a set of motor mounts for my ca, and i want ca specific ones. i know about the nismo option but they are really expensive! is there any place that sells oem ca mounts or even a less expensive alternative, and i would rather not do the hockey puck mounts. Thanks, TJG

2" Solid aluminum. It's what I have paired with a Nismo transmission mount. West Corvina Nissan sells the trans mount for $44 shipped.

Then again I don't daily my 240.

just get stock motor mounts for whatever year 240 you have. the KA, SR, and CA all use the same motor mounts, IIRC. Either that or there always is the Hockey Puck trick fr Under $20

the ca and the ka motor mounts are not the same, i heard the ka mounts will sit the ca at a weird angle and make the shifter sit uneven. can anyone confirm this? cause i would love to use stock mounts..

CA mounts ARE different than KA's. There are specific Nismo CA mounts as well, in case you change your mind. I run Nismo's on my kouki with the KA, and have run them in two SR powered cars I've owned and they are actually very good.

i know about the nismo mounts, i say so in my first post.. and if nothing else turns up i will go with them, they are just very expensive. all im really asking is, can i get stock ca motor mounts anywhere? or does anyone have a used set they will part with thats in good condition?

you shouldnt need to change the kade motor mounts at all, mine were identical to the ones that came on my CA, but i had three broken motor mounts and one that didnt look so hot, and im poor, so i did the hockey pucks.... but if you can find a decent set of stockers from a ka you should be fine, just save up for better ones for the future.

last i saw theres no modification needed...everything clears fine...might not have to much of the ganstah lean but the KA ones work no big...i believe the only difference is that the Exhaust side is shorter, heence the tipsy looks of the motor...when i looked at my friends CA wiht KA mount, not as tipsy, but then that could be because of tehe actual brackets on the motor themselve s and there positioning on the block...im not sure....but the numbers are diff, but either work....

What's so cool about the Nismo mounts? Are they stiff? Stiff but don't rattle the car? Just wondering, I've never tried them.

Stock mounts are pathetic, nasty, horrible and pathetic. ...and nasty. I went to another dyno-day with for my local Nissan forum and even the stock KA valve covers wobble to and fro at least 3 inches. It's just disgusting. How can anyone expect to put down any moderate amount of power with those? Gross...

On my CA car, I use 3 pucks on the intake side and 2.5 pucks on the exhaust side to raise the oil pan up a bit (probably would have sat better with 2.5I and 2E). On my SR car, I use 2.5 pucks on each side.

I run a KA one the intake sice (same height as CA) and a CA on the passenger side (slightly shorter as the CA "leans"). I filled them with 3M Window Weld polyurethane and they rock. Hard enough that the engine does not move a lot, but there is no harsh buzzing in the interior like some of my pals have with Cusco and ProjectNissan mounts.
