stock metal exhaust gasket?????

i noticed something that struck me as odd. mycar came with an exhaust manifold gasket that is a 1 peice copper on my ka de and when i put my turbo mani on i wanted to replace it with a brand new one. when i went to nissan the guy handed me 4 individual kevlar type gaskets and i said i was looking for the 1 peice copper. he said nissan never used the metal gasket and i have an aftermarket one. i bought my car 100% stock so i was alittle confused. iv been lookin for that copper gasket and still havent seen it to this day. anyone who did a turbo instal or headers on there ka run into the mysterious metal gasket like me or are all ur cars the regular and where the hell can i get another metal one?
