stock manifold question

Is there any way to mount a turbo onto the stock KA24DE exhaust manifold? I've seen this done on other cars before. Would clearance be an issue or is there some way around it? Also are there any other manifolds that will fit the KA?

You'll need to do some welding, it can be done, I've seen it done on V8's but you simply buy a shorty header and turn it upside down...You'd probably be better off just buying a log type manifold. There are plenty of places that sell them.
