I always thought and read that the stock maf is only good for 8lbs of boost and even there you push the limits of it...Geo and I both have IAP kits and SAFC with it. I'm running 7lbs and Geo is running 10lbs. Both of us see 50-60% range.Think Geo goes up to 65%...

Florida- Our experience has been that the stock MAFS will run into trouble at around 250WHP give or take a few. After that, we like the 300ZX MAFS over the Cobra one because it is Nissan and has even more capacity than the Cobra MAFS.

Different turbos psi means different things. It's thw rwhp that limits it at 250. I ran 10 psi on stock MAf also but I didn't have 250rwhp with that

Yeah it is actualy air flow that matters not psi, diffrent turbos will flow the same amout of air at diffrent psi's so it is more of how much air your flowing, and I do belive that around 250hp worth of air is where the stock MAF is reaching it's limit.

HMM for some reaosn unless my eyes failed me I hit 100% Air flow tonight.I was going 130ish. Showing my buddy my car even though the clutch is slippign like a mother...Thought i saw it go from 84% to 92 to 96 and looked back at the road because i'm going fast and then car sputtered.I was at 10.8 A/F ratio. Maybe I was mistaken and looked at my throttle %...

go to sensor check on the safc and watch the maf voltage. its the first number. if it is hitting 5.1 volts then you are maxing out the maf. unfortunatly, the sensor check menu doesnt have peak hold, so you need to have a quick eye to watch it and the road

use a friend

i'm pretty interested in this all as well because i'm buying the bikirom solution, and i want to keep the stock mafs for at least a little while because the turbo have will not flow enough to warrant getting a different mafs (it's at it's max efficiency around 8 psi i believe). so all of this is coming as good news to me.... less money i have to spend right now in order to do all this.

doing over 100 on a public highway is bad enough, looking down at your safc while going that fast is just stupid. take hysteria's advise and have your friend look at it. unless you ease into the throttle to 130mph, i doubt it was tps

**Warning** May be a dumb question. But does the airflow percentage have anything to with the limits of the maf.**End warning**

It was my backroad next to my house. At 12am. Only like 7 houses on in in the 2mile stretch. I was assuming the Air flow % is how much air the mafs was reading of its max...
