all of it? the LSD isn't the issue the tires are, the stock VSLD just sucks because it has to slip to engage, otherwise it holds fins, most racers prefer a clutch type or helical because of their more predictable responce, the R200 diff in geeral is pretty much bullet proof, and the latest version found in the Z33 uses an even beefier pinion and bearings than previousmodels so breaking it isn't an issue to well north of 600 whp, and likely a lot mroe than that to actually break anything

I think jet said he was using a stock rear end and he's putting out over 600hp at the crank.

1.5 way and 2 way are switchable diffs, they act like an open till triggered by accel, decell, throttle lift tc, most use a CLSD but instead fo the cluches being engaged all the time there si a set of activator pllates and a center rod that triggers by placing force forward or forward and back

A 1 way lsd locks up during wheel spin only while accelerating but behaves as an open diff after throttle lift and deceleration

A 2 way locks up on both during acceleration and deceleration.

A 1.5 (as you may alread have guessed) is a split between the two. Locking up during acceleration and also during deceleration, but not nearly to the extent that a 2 way will.

If you're looking for an lsd for a daily driver I'd recommend a 1.5 Lift-off oversteer enters a whole new realm under a 2 way and I've seen more than a couple of drivers lift throttle expecting to settle the car only to spin.

Unless you're a VERY experienced driver, don't get the 2 way. You'll end up wresling the car into stability at every corner, not only on acceleration. Braking, turning and powering out of corners will be like stuffing a monkey in a cage. Doable but needs a bit of a tussle.

If you're going drifting, get the 1.5.

If you're going racing... get the 1.5.

If you have a TRACK ONLY car and wanna learn to drive the hell out of it... get the 1.5.

If you have balanced brakes, great suspension and a huge FEEL for the car, not to mention how good a driver you are (ON THE TRACK, street doesn't count), get the 2 way.

If you're going drag racing (really?), get the 1 way.

Good luck.

P.S. Remember that you'll need MAINTENANCE on the diff. Fluids, clutches, and so on.

I like the consistancy and tunability of a standard non switchable clutch type
