First off, yes i did search. the search breaks down every word in the search phrase and finds random posts.

ok, so i got my block back from the shop the other day and decided to start putting it back together. it has been bored .020 over and cleaned and all that jazz along with the crank being cleaned and whatnot. everything is within spec according to the shop.

I installed the bearings and plastigaged all of them. torqued the bolts to 25 ft-lb then on to 50 ft-lb. i even put some assembly lube on the bolts( i think its to get an accurate torque reading) took everything apart and checked the plastic... all within specs, ok cool...

cleaned all the residue off and lubed it all up and assembled it again.. just like before. after it was all tight i was like sweet on to the piston. went to turn the crank to line it up and wouldnt budge... :?: ... gave it some muscle but not too much and still nothing..

so stumped and hungry i came in and had some lasagna. :D . and now im here asking for some input........or a link to a previous thread that i could not find..

thank you , that is all.
