Does anybody know what is the max flow rate of the stock KA Fuel rail?

Thanks

I've read in the past that the SR guys run 740cc injectors and make +500rwhp with stock rail...and the KA rail is very similar.

It really won't be a concern for you...

so in that case i don't need to get a custom rail made for 72lb or 755cc injectors?

Good luck finding side feed 72# injectors...you will find 740 cc's though.

The 72lb/hr that evreyone runs with a JWT setup WILL require a new rail, as they are top feed.

But a few companies make 740cc side feeds...i.e. Tomei.

For the price of 740cc side-feeds, you could get the rail AND the 72lb'ers and have a few bucks left over in the end. Unless you could find some Bosch injectors that will fit the KA rail for cheap.

Racetronix sells 75 lb. hr. injectors for 57.50 each...but you do have to get a fuel rail and some kind of engine management for them. (JWT CAN tune for these, but you have to send one in for them to flow bench)

Yes - If you splurged and got the 740cc drop-in side feeds, the OEM regulator would still work.

Actually, it would be doing less "regulating", as the injectors would be consuming so much fuel, not much would be going through the return line. So it's fine. Lot's of the aftermarket fuel rails untilize the OEM FPR...

Are the racetronics injectors plug and play for the s-14 ? Or do they need any modifications?

I just got them in...they look IDENTICAL to MSD's...they need a new fuel rail, and depending on which ones you get, you will need a resistor for them as well...other than that, they are pretty much drop in after you have the new rail. Oh, and you'll need some kind of engine management to run them

i got my MSD 72lb injectors from ka24de.comThey were only $289 compared to Jim Wolf's $400. They come with everything. If you are using MSD top feeds and Jim Wolf fuel rail, they tell you to ditch the top o-ring on all the injectors and use the o-ring that was on the bottom up top instead. There are C shaped clips that prevent the injector that from going up all the way into the rail(Fits below the o-ring)Summit Racing has the inector clips for the MSD's which plug into the injector. You still have to wire into the stock harness though.
