I was thinking of going with IAP stage 1+ kit what additional mods would i need for it to perform in between 250-300hp safely as a daily driver and how many hp can the stock internals actually take withstand

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, SEARCH! It's the blinking red button at the top. Seriously, this topic has been absolutely beaten to death.

It all depends on the condition of the engine, the nature/safeness of the tune, the type of gas used, how it's drived, etc. Some people (me personally) start blowing ring-lands around the 250-275 whp; I know I did on my original engine, and some people run 350 whp on stock internals. It's never a completely cut-and-dry answer. I personally don't think the stock engines are good for any more than 300 whp max, and that's with a GOOD tune. And I was using alcohol injection, along with 93 octane fuel, and a huge intercooler when my ringlands were destroyed...

Stock internals can take as much power as you cna throw at it with a AWESOME tune. I just don't know how LONG the stock internals will hold 500rwhp. Best bet is to get your motor built with forged internals for anything over 310rwhp. BUT THE KEY THING HERE IS THE TUNE. ****ing ****tty tune on stock internals = KABOOOM, ****ty tune on forged internals = KABOOOM. TIMING and the right octane GAS is also CRUICAL!!!@!@!@!@ The rest you can search for because I am too lazy to type it out!

timing is what kills these engines.................ur tune will be the major reason whether or not ur engine will last or call it quits on ya...........
