I just got my ARC SMIC and im turning up the boost. Im using all of the stock IC piping and also the recirc valve. Can all of these components handle 1 bar (14.5PSI)?

The ARC is good up to 14? Cool.

Stock is good up to 14, why wouldn't an ARC ic hold up to it? It's thicker, wider in surface area, and the design is more efficient. An ARC ic wouldn't be an aftermarket upgrade if it couldn't handle anything more than 14 psi.

Sure it can handle it, but don't they get heat soaked at anything over 10psi?

ZzZzZzZzZ, price (good deal off ebay 215 shipped), unique, no need for a radiator, new battery, and many other reasons.

Not for long periods of time - maybe a quick dragrace. If you're getting on it alot you'll heatsoak the SMIC and risk detonation if you keep pushing it.

don't the injectors max at 0.8 bar? 1.0 bar's a bit much for the stock system if I'm not certain, if it's not the IC then it's the fuel system. I would not run 1 bar on a stock IC and stock fuel system that's for sure. The ARC SMIC's I have heard are able to handle the 1.0 bar of boost and max out at like 1.2 bar or so I've heard.

I run 14 psi just fine, which is just below 1.0 bar. And I'm still running rich. Haha.

btw, not all FMICs are low mounts. I have an upper mount FMIC and it retains the sleep pretty nicely :)

Not at all. I ran 1 Bar daily on my stock fuel system for a year with no problems. My injectors were at like 90-95% duty cycle, but it worked fine.
