Stock Infiniti M56 World Record [email protected]

Got back from the track a few hours ago and very happy. Staking my claim as the holder of the Stock M56 Record. I know it's not that prestigious but I pride myself on always getting the fastest or close to the fastest possible times with every car I get before doing any mods.

Got there early but not early enough track was packed cars all the way from the gate to the road. Got there at 838 didn't run till 1138.DA was -47 could of had a DA -1058 had I got to run with the first heat of test and tune. I also spun slightly I've had better 60' than this run. Car has more in it.This was my first time at the track with the car totally right and good air. I'm pretty confident I'm going to beat Majestic's modified time before this season is up.

If it hasn't been documented and he's the first to post a time slip, it is hereto his record. If some 90yr old grandpa who doesn't know what a computer is has a built M56 and no one knows about it...it doesn't count. So, OP's time is, hereto, considered the record.

Lol IIlya pretty much summed it up. At the end of the day it's not some big deal. Guinness isn't flying out to interview me. Find someone claiming a faster time with legit proof and they can have the record lol. I'm also faster than Usain Bolt just never put it out there.

I can hardly find any proof of people actually racing these. Posting this should inspire people to take their car to the track. Only things you ever find is videos of peoples dash while they accelerate like that means something. I mean every forum I've been on has a sticky with a list of the top 1/4 mile times this one doesn't If it did I imagine it would be a very short thread.

lol it would. I myself am more into aesthetics than trying to squeeze out :01 on the strip...but knowing that my car can do around high 12's is nice.

Oh how times have changed. Nearly 30 years ago I had a 74' Z-28 with a 427, M22 rock crusher, the widest legal wheels, 850 Holley 4 barrel, etc. that broke down every few months and got 10mpg. It would run in the low 13's if it could hook up(wheel bounce). Now my family sedan will run similar times all day long with little drama.

Track got rained out Saturday and Sunday air wasn't great so didn't go. My track is closed for the year. Now I'm probably going to make a trip down to Englishtown they're open till the end of November.

According to my Dial In calculator I'd run 12.80 right now if I can get this air down in jersey could run 12.70's possibly high 12.6's
