Stock HID upgrade?
has anyone swapped out the stock hid D2R bulbs to a brighter aftermarket system??

Yeah, i just did last week. I got 6000k low beams and i ordered 6000k fogs from DDMTuning. Such a difference.

how did you do it? did you just plug in play? what kind of bulbs?

Just followed the writeup that's sticky'd in this section. They don't have D2R bulbs listed on their website, but just call them and say you have a Altima Coupe and want D2R bulbs and the K you want and they'll do your order over the phone. It was plug and play, just swapped out stock hid with the DDM 6K D2R bulb.
