I have a 2006 M35x base model. I wasn't aware that there are different headlights that come on the Ms!! I see other peoples cars and the have all of these small dots or lines of lights around the headlight. The halo part on my headlight doesn't have those lines. It's just the regular hid. I'm trying my best to explain. Also I don't think when I make turns my headlights turn as well

Most likely you're seeing customized headlights, or maybe headlights pulled f9om some other model, like a Q, seems like someone put Q headlights on their M. 2006 M headlights were like yours, the only difference between stock model headlights is that the sport model headlights are black where the standard model headlights are chrome. Do some searching in this forum (see search button up and to the right, then choose this forum instead of all forums) and you'll see plenty of posts about headlight customizations and most likely find what you saw that was different. As for the AFS, what makes you think yours don't turn as well?
